In 2020, I finished my Ph.D. within the Laboratory for Computational and Statistical Learning at the University of Genova, where I had the chance to be supervised by Lorenzo Rosasco. During my Ph.D. I interned at Google Brain Paris, where I was fortunate to work with Moustapha Cissé, Rodolphe Jenatton, and Jean-Philippe Vert. Until September 2021, I spent a great year and a half in the Machine Learning Genoa Center as a Postdoctoral Researcher. From September 2021 to October 2022 I worked as Applied Scientist at Zalando SE in Berlin, where I designed and developed causal discovery/inference solutions to measure the impact and steer marketing strategies. I am now a Research Scientist at Yahoo Research.
My research interests revolve around large-scale machine learning, convex optimization, statistical learning theory, bayesian/bandit optimization, deep learning and causality.
